Conflict: Racism

Names:Kanna, Emma, Sayaka and Dan

What is it?

It is about racism, labeling and stereotyping.

When did it exist (or does it still)?

It doesn't say exactly what times, but it says that there was a 19th century slave named Harriet Tubman. She escaped Southern America in 1849, but then she got caught, we're guessing, and she became a slave.

Why did it happen?

It happened because people were too proud about themselves, and started to pick on people that were different from them. They became greedy and started grouping up, maybe, with people that were similar to them. Then they started stereotyping.

How did it happen?
It happened because people were being prejudice to other people, and then conflict started to happen between two or more groups (sides). And then other people started to join in, and then it became more like what a person should do, some people thought. It became kind of like a religion, in a way.

Where did it happen?
It happened partly at Southern America, which was where some slavery was (including the slavery of Harriet Tubman). It also happened in Israel, where German people went against the Jewish people.

How did this cause conflict?
It caused conflict (for example) if the Black people, the people who were being picked on, wanted to fight back, stand up to them and quote what there human rights were. Another example is when the Jewish people, Hitler and his gang of Germans had war. When Hitler was being prejudice to the Jewish.

How was it solved?
